Join T’uy’t’tanat Cease Wyss, ethnobotanist, media artist, educator and activist of Skwxwu7mesh/Stó:lō/Hawaiian/Swiss ancestry, for a Coast Salish Plant Walk. 

Location: Meet at the Coast Salish Plant Nursery (2649 Dollarton Hwy, North Vancouver). We will be walking through Maplewood Flats.

Event Description:

Cease Wyss and Coast Salish Plant Nursery Staff will guide you on a botanical discovery through Maplewood Flats. Cease will share her extensive plant knowledge, including medicines, traditional teachings and the interconnectedness of nature and the forest.

Following the walk, participants will have the opportunity to browse and purchase a wide variety of native plants at the Coast Salish Plant Nursery.

This event is part our our Stewardship Series and is being organized in partnership with the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver, Stanley Park Ecology and the Wild Bird Trust/Coast Salish Plant Nursery
