Growing Green and Fighting Invasive Plants (online) - May 2023

Ever wondered what plants live in your neighbourhood and local parks? How do you know which ones are invasive? In this online workshop, organized by Van Dusen Botanical Gardens, you will learn basic plant identification skills and discover practical tips for preventing and managing invasive species. Gain plant knowledge and help protect your local environment! 

Tasha Murray, Executive Director of the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver, will be leading this online workshop. Tasha has been involved in conservation in the Pacific Northwest for over twenty years, working with land managers, professionals, volunteers and the public on invasive species projects.
