Invasive Plant Pull in Jim Lorimer Park - June 2023

Help protect and restore Burnaby's beautiful Jim Lorimer Park! Volunteers are needed to remove invasive plants. This event is free and open to families, youth, and all community members. Participants do not need to be City of Burnaby residents.

No experience is necessary. This event will be led by an expert from the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver. Volunteers will be provided with instruction, gloves, tools, and refreshments.

Burnaby Stewardship events are held regularly in Jim Lorimer Park (2338 Gilmore Avenue). Events will also be held at Central Park and Deer Lake Park.
