POSITION: Operations Coordinator

START DATE: April 6, 2021

TERM: Full-time April - October, with possibility of extension or casual winter hours

WORK HOURS: Work weeks are flexible but typically consist of 4 consecutive 10-hour weekdays; up to 2 weekend days/month is required; occasional evenings

LOCATION: 1025 Boundary Road, Vancouver with travel to worksites throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley; some office work can be home-based

WAGE: $23.00-25.00/hour depending on experience

The Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver (ISCMV) and Fraser Valley Invasive Species Society (FVISS) are non-profit organizations dedicated to minimizing the impact of invasive species. We conduct field work, stewardship events, outreach and education throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley and require a full-time employee during the 2021 field season. This is a shared position between the two organizations, offering the right candidate a variety of learning opportunities and responsibilities.
